Our program has a Full CDC recognition and provides an evidence-based CDC-recognized program that is frequently updated based on the most recent scientific data.
Our Lifestyle coaches are well trained and Certified to provide the CDC program. Many of them have degrees and experience in healthcare fields.
Our Program is supervised by a Medical Doctor with expertise in chronic disease prevention.
Participants will participate in 22 group program support sessions and work with a trained Lifestyle Coach.
We are collaborating with the New York Medical College, one of the best Medical Centers in the Nation to add a Culinary Medicine component to our program.
We are providing community-based supervision for the Medical Students & Residents. They are supplementing the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) with a culinary medicine program that consists of recipes and cooking demonstrations in the community to prevent or delay chronic diseases.
We are collaborating with the Dietetic School at Pace University to provide a robust science based nutrition counseling and education program. Our partnership provides Students in the Master in Nutrition and Dietetic Program with community experience in providing group and individualized nutrition education and support to our program participants.
Through our partnership with Pace University and the New York Medical College, we provide the most comprehensive and effective program in the nation to prevent type 2 diabetes and its complications.
