We are providing community-based supervision for the Medical Students & Residents. They are supplementing the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) with a culinary medicine program that consists of recipes and cooking demonstrations in the community to prevent or delay chronic diseases.
We are collaborating with the Dietetic School at Pace University to provide a robust science based nutrition counseling and education program. Our partnership provides Students in the Master in Nutrition and Dietetic Program with community experience in providing group and individualized nutrition education and support to our program participants.
Through our partnership with Pace University and the New York Medical College, we provide the most comprehensive and effective program in the nation to prevent type 2 diabetes and its complications.
Dr. Dana Wade is an accomplished, versatile professional with a stellar career history driving
organizational success through the strategic oversight of diverse medical clinical initiatives.
He graduated from Saint Matthew School of Medicine in 2011 and did a research fellowship in
cardiovascular disease prevention at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Yeshiva University from 2012 to 2015.
From there, he advanced through multiple specialized roles with various organizations and cultivated expertise in project management, clinical trial development and oversight, disease prevention, workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and relationship management.
In 2016, Dr. Dana Wade founded Your Excellent Health to concentrate on disease prevention with an ongoing commitment to supporting underserved populations. Dr. Dana Wade completed his M.B.A. with a 4.0 GPA at the University of Bridgeport in 2019. Dr. Wade is also a Lifestyle Coach trained to deliver a CDC-approved curriculum.
Ms. Kate Gabova is majoring in Biology (B.S.) at the University of Bridgeport. She was recognized with a Certificate of Honor at the conference of the Minor Academy of Sciences of the Young Researchers, 2009.
In 2013, she was awarded 1st place diploma at the Competitions of the Scientific Projects in Chemistry. Ms. Gabova is a Lifestyle Coach trained to deliver a CDC-approved curriculum. Ms. Gabova is also a certified Master Trainer Select and is eligible to train other Lifestyle Coaches.
